Return Policy

  • You will need your original receipt or order printout to make a return or exchange.
  • All returned merchandise must be unworn, unopened, and undamaged with the original ticketing and tags attached. We do not accept returns for soiled or washed merchandise.
  • If you are returning a gift you received and do not want the refund to go to the original payment method, please ask the store associate for a refund via Store Credit.

Frequently Asked Questions regarding Returns and Exchanges

How much time do I have to return or exchange an item?

Items purchased with Looking Forward Maternity may be returned for a refund or exchanged either in the store or by mail within 20 days of receiving them.

Some exceptions apply to this 20-day rule. For more details see Final-Sale Products and Orders.

Can I return a website purchase to the store?

Yes. Items can be returned, replaced or exchanged (pending product availability) for free at our store.

Do I need to return the item in its original label?

All items must be returned with the original label and/or tag still attached. We recommend you keep your label and/or tag attached until you are sure that you're keeping it, for this reason.

Do I need to return the item in its original label?

Products that come with special packaging must be returned with the packaging intact.

Can I get my shipping cost refunded?

If there was an error on our part related to your order, we will issue a credit for your order and any applicable shipping and gift-wrapping charges.

Can I return a Looking Forward Maternity Gift Card or eGiftCard?

Electronic and plastic Gift Cards are not returnable or refundable for a refund.

I've returned my item by mail. When will I get my refund?

We will refund your method of payment or replace your item after we receive the original item. The process takes 2-3 weeks in most cases. If you paid via credit cards, PayPal, or Google Wallet (a.k.a. Google Checkout), your refund will be applied to the same account. Cash orders will be refunded with a check from our company. Check-paid orders are issued a store credit only.

How do I return in store?

Please bring your return, along with proof of purchase, to our store during business hours.

How do I return by mail?

Please ship your product to 110 Spencer Street 1-A, Brooklyn, NY 11205. We recommend taht you pack your return well so that it does not get damaged en route. We also advise that you ship with a trackable method (i.e. UPS, FedEx, etc.)

How do I return a gift?

If you received a gift and would like to return it, please use the enclosed gift receipt when returning. If you lost the gift receipt, you will need to either know the sender's information (name, telephone number or email address), or have the carrier's tracking number (on the box).

We do not offer refunds for gift orders or orders send to a different address than the billing address. We will issue a store credit to the party that makes a return for the gift (or for a 3rd party purchase).

Orders paid with a gift card, gift certificate or store credit can only be returned for a store credit.
